NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF
The following shall be the order of business at the regular meetings:
1. Call to order by the Presiding Officer.
2. Roll Call of Officers.
3. Recording of names of members present.
4. Reading of applications of membership and action thereon.
5. Reports of Officers.
6. Reports of Committees, when appropriate.
B. Grievance/ Counciling
D. Programs Co-ordinator
E. sick & Flowers
F. Ways & Means
G. Annual Picnic
7. Reports of delegates.
8. Reading of Correspondence and action thereon.
9. Unfinished business.
10. Election of officers and delegates.
11. New Business.
12. Remarks for the good of the Association.
During the temporary absence of any officer, the President shall appoint a member to fill the vacancy pro-tem.
The President shall appoint a Sergeant of Arms and one or two alternates to serve as a committee for the purpose of maintaining the attendance record during meetings and assisting with the order during all regular and special meetings of the Branch. Terms shall be two years to coincide with the term for the Officers.
The deliberations of the Association shall be governed by Roberts Rules of Order Revised in cases where this Constitution or By-Laws does not provide.
An honorarium shall be provided to each retiring member in good standing and with at least five years of continuous membership prior to retirement or to the next of kin of a deceased member.
A floral tribute or an equal monetary contribution to a designated charity shall be sent by this Branch to a deceased member, spouse, father, mother, or children. The cost to be determined by the Officers.
Any member may invite a visitor to attend one regular NAPS meeting. a visitor would be a supervisor considering application, an acting supervisor (204-B) in a temporary capacity of sixty days or more, or a non-postal employee. The attendance record will show which persons were visitors.
Each officer shall immediately, upon expiration of term, turn over all books, records, equipment, and other such property of the Association to his/her successor.
There shall be an annual event held each year in memorial to E. DALE MONTGOMERY. The Bracn 8 President shall appointa committee to be responsible for planning and implementation.
Amendments to By-Laws shall be in writing and submitted to the Constitution Committee. A majority at the following regular member meeting shall be necessary for its adoption. All adopted amendments shall be distributed by mail to the membership by the Secretary.
